Wilson is the project manager for Andina Copper’s Cobrasco copper project in Chocó, Colombia, bringing over 25 years of experience in mineral exploration and mine operations across South America and Africa. Wilson began his career at Cerrejón (formerly a BHP, Anglo American, and Glencore JV), and has since held senior exploration roles with Vale, Anglo American and South32, across Colombia, Brazil and South Africa. Most recently, he served as exploration and geology principal at South32’s Cerro Matoso Mine in Córdoba, Colombia. Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree in geology and a master’s degree in regeneration and sustainable development. He is a Member of the AusIMM and is recognised as a competent person under the JORC Code.
